WHO ARE WE? ABOUT THE PROJECT Due to the rapid industrialization and population growth, the living quarters of living beings are gradually shrinking. World Commission on Environment and development which was published in 1987, “our common future” in a report, the concept of sustainability is defined as follows; “without compromising the ability of future generations to respond to the needs of nature by providing a daily meal, is the ability to make development sustainable.” Although there is a general consensus that the world's resources and the environment are moving towards the limit of depletion as a result of human activities, the view is widespread that sustainability will only be achieved by using the resources offered by nature at a rate that will allow them to be self-renewable. As educators, we, together with our students, feel the need to conduct studies about how nature processes cycles and what we can do to live more harmoniously with this system. TARGETS ...
